Modelmaking
From idea to product
In cooperation with a model building company, your designs can be realised in true-to-the-original prototypes. From simple volume models made of foam to complex high-end functional models, we efficiently realise your project. For this, we use various manufacturing techniques such as 3D printing, CNC milling, laser cutting, casting or laminating. Depending on the requirements, we offer the appropriate materials such as wood, various plastics, light metals or glass and carbon fibre.
Volume models
Volume models are more or less detailed illustrations of the future product. The purpose is to assess the volumes and the proportions, the haptics and the ergonomics. They can be produced quickly and inexpensively.
High end models
High-end models are perfect representations of the intended product. They are characterised by a high level of detail and hyper-realistic surfaces. Thanks to the latest CNC technology, an accuracy of 0.2 mm can be achieved.
Functional models
These models extend the above-mentioned possibilities by their function. Various elements such as light and light effects, movement or sensor technology are implemented in the model to create interactive products for presentation or evaluation purposes.
